At present, there are a lot of customers asking about recycle poly fabric. Especially for some European orders, all want to change the regular polyester to recycle poly fabric. Under this trend, we also applied for the certificate of recycled materials last year and renewed this certificate again this year. We mainly use wool fabrics, so recycled fabrics mainly refer to recycled wool and recycle poly fabric.
Recycled fibers subvert traditional sources of raw materials, use local materials, comprehensively utilize waste resources, endow fibers with "second life", and produce new functional fibers comparable to the original quality.
Features of recycled poly fabric
Recycled polyester fibers with good quality are produced through special polymerization spinning technology, which can realize the diversity of polymers under the premise of ensuring the same quality as virgin polyester and can be made into high F number, fine denier, specially shaped cross-sections, etc. A variety of high-performance fibers. For example, the special-shaped yarn WAVERTON, whose unique flat cross-section can be made into a new material with anti-UV, windproof and water-resistant properties; the triangular special-shaped fat and thin yarn CORTICO, whose fine holes on the surface of the yarn can diffuse light and apply it to the fabric. Not only can it have the natural appearance of linen, but also has the physical properties of cotton; the special-shaped yarn CALCULO, with a highly profiled cross-section, is in the shape of a cross spiral and can be made into a lightweight and dry fabric that absorbs sweat and quickly dries.
At present, the consumption of chemical fiber textiles and plastic beverage bottles in my country is very high. The recycling of waste textiles can not only reduce environmental pollution but also turn waste into treasure.
Regenerated nylon fiber is also called nylon regrind, which is generally produced by melting and granulating nylon yarn, nylon yarn, or nylon fabric. It has good wear resistance, heat resistance, oil resistance, and chemical resistance, and greatly reduces the raw material Excellent water absorption and shrinkage, excellent dimensional stability, and excellent mechanical strength.
The production process of recycled poly fabric
There are generally two methods for manufacturing recycled fibers, one is called the physical recycling production method, and the other is called the chemical recycling production method.
The physical recycling production method refers to the reprocessing process of waste polyester. Recycled materials such as bottle material and polyester waste silk are crushed, melted, purified, or modified and granulated to directly spin to produce short fibers. The mechanical properties of the products are poor, and some are difficult to achieve. Textile standard is generally used for filling or industrial purposes, but this method is relatively simple to produce and low in cost.
The chemical recycling production method refers to the use of the reversibility of the condensation process of polyester polycondensates to depolymerize the recycled polyester into smaller molecules, intermediates, or directly into monomers through chemical methods, and then polycondensate into high-quality products. Fiber-grade polyester chips are used for spinning. This method has high process requirements and is mostly used for high-value polymer materials. It uses the raw material value of waste textiles and can realize complete recycling. The main method is the methanol dissolution method, ethylene glycol alcoholysis, hydrolysis, and supercritical depolymerization.
Although the chemical method is completely recyclable and of high quality, it can replace virgin polyester in an all-around way, but due to its short-term economic benefits, raw material supply, and processing technology limitations, the development speed of the chemical method is still relatively slow. All recycled PET bottle flakes by physical method.
